Wednesdays are great days on so many levels: half of the work week is over, my favorite lifting class is on in the evening, Private Practice is out on hulu, and, best of all, it’s WIAW day!
Interestingly, what I eat reflects my persona – it’s predominantly colorful, wholesome, earthy, and balanced – so hopefully these WIAW posts will connect you and me even more.
Siggi’s blueberry yogurt with raw buckwheat granola (includes coconut, raisins, dates, sprouted walnuts and pumpkin seeds, wild blackberry honey, vanilla and cinnamon)
Kale “superfood” salad with edamame, broccoli raisin salad with sunflower seeds, and basmati rice mixed with blanched red cabbage, wakame, sea lettuce, dulce, sauteed onions, tamari, and a drizzle of toasted sesame oil.
Dried papaya with salted pistachios
Grilled “Mandarin” green beans, roasted beet salad with goat cheese and hazelnuts, and Israeli couscous tossed together with roasted cauliflower and butternut squash
Green & Blacks organic milk chocolate topped with coconut, accompanied by fresh blackberries
